‘Isolation’ to entertain home viewership

Iranian movie ‘Isolation’ is slated to enter the domestic market of home entertainment as of mid-March, 2018.

The news was announced by the flick’s producer Peyman Jafari, in an interview with the Young Journalists Club.

In a recent exclusive interview with ifilm, Jafari said his cinematic project is themed on misjudgment in society.

“The film (Isolation) revolves around a subject we felt we had to convey to people, the producer said, adding, “The subject is misjudgment.”

He also noted, “People keep misjudging others and it had a bad outcome … and the flick shows the results of this negative trait.”

Nominated for a Crystal Simorgh for Best Supporting Actor, the film was initially released at the 35th edition of Fajr Film Festival.

Directed by Morteza Ali Abbasmirzaei, the movie portrays  the story of a man named Parviz who after six years of imprisonment takes permission from the warden for a 72-hour leave in order to bury his departed wife and attend her burial ceremony, but his mind is occupied with something else.

The cast includes actors such as: Jamshid Hashempour (as a guest of honor), Amirali Danaei, Nader Fallah, Alireza Ostadi, Siamak Safari, Behnoosh Bakhtiari, Andishe Fooladvand, Shaghayegh Farahani and Mehran Rajabi.
